Summer Camp for Children - 2026


We are happy to inform you that Ramakrishna Mission, Kadapa, conducted a non-residential Summer Camp for children of the age group of  8 - 16 years from 26 April - 10  May, 2026.  Overall, about 115 children participated.  The Daily routine was from 7.45 AM to 11.30 AM, which included Prarthana Slokas, Yogasanas, Breakfast, Stotras, Bhajans, and life skills through stories from Ramayana, Mahabharatha, Srimad Bhagavatham, and the lives of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swamiji, and other great personalities.  Drawing and handicrafts were part of the daily routine.

The Camp included trekking to the nearby beautiful hillock, popularly known as Palakonda, and also Padapuja to their parents, to inculcate respect for the elders in their minds.  Competitions in Stotra Path, Bhajans, Yogasana, Drawing and Handicraft were also conducted, wherein children participated enthusiastically.

On 10th May, the Summer Camp concluded with children performing Padapuja for their parents.  It was followed by a Valedictory Function wherein prizes were awarded to the winners of various competitions.  Prof K. Rama Subba Reddy, the Head, Dept. of Physical Education, Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa, was the Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring speech and handed over the prizes.


Summer Camp for Children - 2025

Ramakrishna Mission, Kadapa, conducted a Summer Camp for children of age group of 8 - 16 years from  25 April - 9  May, 2025.  
Overall 162 children participated.

Obula Reddy, the well known Paediatrician of Kadapa and a member of our Managing Committee, was the Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring speech.

Summer Camp for Children - 2024

Ramakrishna Mission, Kadapa conducted Summer Camp for children of 8 to 16 years age group from  5 - 19  May 2024.  In all 125 students participated in the Camp.  The Daily routine included Prarthana Shlokas, Yogasanas, Breakfast, Stotras, Bhajans, and great messages through moral stories from the lives of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swamiji, and other great personalities.  The Camp included trekking to the nearby beautiful hillock, popularly known as Palakondalu, and also Padapuja to their parents, to inculcate respect for the elders in their minds.  Many competitions were also conducted wherein children participated enthusiastically.  On 19th May concluding function was held wherein winners of various competitions were awarded. Revered Swami Turiyananda Saraswathij, Chinmaya Mission, Kadapa presided as the chief guest and delivered an inspirational speech.

Guru Purnima Celebration

Guru Purnima was celebrated on 03.07.2023 at Kadapa centre with Homa, Spiritual Discourse, Arati, and Bhajans.
